The Walkerton Clean Water Centre (WCWC) is seeking administrative support for the Department of Management Services. The position requires a team player with excellent verbal and written English communications skills.
This position is based in Walkerton, Ontario.
Administrative Assistant (Salary Range $43,797 - 49,393.50)
The Administrative Assistant supports the Manager, Department of Management Services with project management of training and events/conferences at 20 Ontario Road. Administrative support for staff with IT, A/V, telephone system, security system and office equipment. Back up to Receptionist, Accounting Assistant and Executive Assistant including Human Resources support.
The ideal candidate will have:
- HR Diploma and relevant experience and skills as an administrative assistant
- Excellent computer skills, in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of QuickBooks accounting system
- Proven ability to perform reception duties
- Responsible for hospitality at the Centre (training or events/conferences)
- Able to work flexible hours when needed
- A valid driver’s license.
