The Walkerton Clean Water Centre (Centre) is committed to supporting the owners and operators of Ontario's small systems. Established in 2004, the Centre provides a state-of-the-art facility and highly skilled research and training staff to meet the specific needs of Ontario's drinking water sector, with a special focus on solutions for small water systems.
The Walkerton Clean Water Centre is the course administrator for the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Operation of Small Drinking Water Systems course
Successful completion of this course qualifies the participant as a “trained person” under O. Reg. 170/03. In addition, this course is a requirement for persons wishing to obtain a Limited System Certificate under O. Reg. 128/04 (Certification of Drinking Water System Operators and Water Quality Analysts).
