Call for Researchers in Drinking Water Systems to join the Research Advisory Committee

The Walkerton Clean Water Centre (WCWC) has established a Research Advisory Committee consisting of members from Ontario’s drinking water sector including academia, technology companies, engineering consultants, First Nations, NGO’s, government, utilities groups and other interested parties.

The committee identifies, evaluates and prioritizes gaps in drinking water research.  The committee advises the WCWC Research & Technology Institute on the WCWC research program, which includes reviewing WCWC’s annual research plan and priorities and providing the CEO with recommendations on how WCWC can best meet the research needs of Ontario’s drinking water sector.

The Research Advisory Committee has an opening for two additional members; researchers with experience in drinking water systems.  The committee meets approximately three times per year.  Teleconferences or webinars may be used as appropriate.  Expenses incurred will be paid by the WCWC according to the Ontario Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive.  This is a volunteer position.
