The Research Lead will be responsible for all stages of research projects including the WCWC research plan, grant proposals, experiments, reports and publications. The Research Lead will also be responsible for the operation and development of the Institute’s laboratory. The position reports to the Manager of the WCWC Research and Technology Institute.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of a Ph. D. degree in science or engineering with a strong background in laboratory procedures; 
• Proven research records in water quality, treatment, distribution, including grant proposal preparation;
• Excellent knowledge of Ontario’s water research priorities; Ability to develop and teach practical courses in the field of water quality and treatment; and 
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
