Training Coordinator (2) (Salary Range $69,546 - $85,979)

Training Coordinators must be self-starting, dynamic and motivated individuals. The successful candidates will be outstanding communicators and capable of dealing with a diverse client base. Working as a part of a team, they will be responsible for most aspects of coordination and administration of drinking water operator and management training courses, including the Ministry of the Environment’s mandatory courses. The WCWC Training Institute is Ontario’s largest provider of water operator training. We have a commitment to both the highest quality and the best customer service. The Training Coordinators must deliver on these high standards. The positions report to the Manager of the WCWC Training Institute.

The ideal candidates will have:

  • A minimum of a college diploma or university degree 
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and demonstrated customer-service orientation; fluency in French would be an asset 
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively as a part of a team 
  • Flexibility in terms of dealing with emergencies and changing priorities Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills 
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (test may be required) 
  • Demonstrated ability to make public presentations and an understanding of adult education principles 
  • Digital skills for website e-learning/website management would be an asset 
  • Some knowledge of the drinking water industry would be an asset
